North Carolina Golf Resort Host Governor's Conference On Tourism
Sunset Beach, NC (PRWeb) January 31, 2007 -- Sea Trail Golf Resort & Conference Center, a 2,000-acre golf resort and residential community in Sunset Beach, N.C., will be the host site for this year's North Carolina Governor's Conference on Tourism, March 25-27, 2007. Sea Trail offers the largest conference center on the North Carolina coast and is known for its three "golf courses of distinction." Sea Trail was recently acknowledged as one of Meetings South magazine's "Best of the South" for a third consecutive year.
Sea Trail and the North Carolina Brunswick Islands Tourism Development Authority will be sponsoring two evening events showcasing the area's beaches as well as Sea Trail's 10,000 square foot ballroom. Also, Sea Trail will host a Captain's Choice tournament for the North Carolina Travel Industry Association on their Jones golf course. The proceeds from the tournament will help finance a Tourism Day Fair in Raleigh, N.C. on May 15th.

The annual North Carolina Governor's Conference on Tourism is the state's premier travel industry event bringing together 500 leaders from the state's resorts, attractions, destination marketing organizations, hotels/motels, estate rental companies, restaurants, and retail outlets to find out the latest trends and issues facing the travel industry.
