Franchise Opportunity Among California Businesses Sold Last Week

Two women turned a Dream Dinners franchise into a very profitable business. They netted $160,000 in just a year. Meal prep franchises are geared to busy moms who want to give their families quality meals but don't have time to cook. Young said a combination of things made the sale. That included a location in a growing area and good customer service. Around eighty percent of mothers in the Bay Area work outside the home, so there is a strong potential customer base.

Although it is the food business, the meal prep industry is less time intensive than owning a restaurant. The owners schedule times people come to assemble pre-ordered meals. That means there is almost no food wasted and the owners can order only what is needed. They had Mondays off and worked in shifts.
