European Rock Stars Now Appearing in Scottsdale Gallery

Scottsdale, AZ (PRWEB) July 18, 2007 -- One of the hottest trends to rock this year's International Gem Show in Tucson, Arizona, was an unconventional European jewelry line incorporating granite pavers from the front steps of Albert Einstein's Swiss home, and dense, ebony stones fished out of Germany's Rhine River. These original "Rhine" stones and "Einstein Street Jewels" have been sculpted into bold geometric pendants, rings and bracelets by Roberto Sutter of Horizonte Switzerland and are now available at French Designer Jeweler at 7148 East Main Street in Old Town Scottsdale.

The Einstein Collection has an innately organic appearance. Smooth surfaces and rough edges commingle on "Mass" rings and "Relativity" beaded necklaces, while polished "Space" pendants serve as striking backdrops for subtle gold, silver, topaz or diamond accents.

"The granite jewelry evokes a strong connection to the past," says jewelry gallery owner, French Thompson. "These pieces are part of our world's history," says Thompson. "Einstein tread over these stones daily 100 years ago during a time when he became internationally famous for his scientific theory of relativity. Sutter's work serves as a visually stunning bridge between the spirit of this genius and the wearer."

The Rhine Stone Collection is equally striking with its big, bold lines and start contrast of black against white quartz sandwiched in the middle of a cuff bracelet, cross pendants and statement rings. All of the pieces in both collections are surprisingly light and balanced for effortless wear.
