Competitive Golf Association Provides Empowerment to Competitive Golfers during its Inaugural Season
Chesapeake, VA (PRWEB) March 25, 2008 -- The Competitive Golf Association begins its inaugural season. This exclusive arrangement allows golfers to compete with others within surrounding cities and states concurrently. Monthly and year to date scores will be reflected on the website leaderboard for each tournament. Through goodwill, CGA will donate all profits obtained from the tournament championships, to a principal charity. The platform may be used to compete for the highest ranking and bragging rights with family and friends.
Men and women 18 years of age or older may compete in this unique format with the ability to compete in a variety of golf tournaments on their own schedule. By playing on a United States Golf Association (USGA) rated public golf course, this engaged challenge helps level the playing field and maximize competitiveness. The season begins in February and ends in August, but the flexibility allows golfers to participate at anytime. The winners of each monthly qualifier, along with the best players of each tournament will be invited to meet and compete in the championship tournament at the end of the season., during Sept and October. Members will have the ability to submit scores for tournaments during the off season. E
ach championship focused charitable event will give the member an opportunity to play with the eminent participates. In measuring and tracking, the resultant names will be compiled on the website throughout the season. In affiliation, CGA and its members will enjoy this gentleman's game while striving to assist and improve those communities in which we work and live. This concept and design is meant for all types of golfers, ranging from beginners to seasoned. Membership Introductory rate is $50. Remember, it's not just about the challenge of the competition but having fun and promoting the game of golf!
