Tania Guerrera Joins the California Exhibit Las Mujeres: Sueños y Realidad
New Rochelle, NY (PRWEB) April 30, 2008 -- Artist and author Tania Guerrera is exhibiting her work at the Galeria Tonantzin, in San Juan Bautista, California. The group show will present work by Latino women artists. Tania Guerrera is known for her vividly powerful, ethnic, political and spiritual paintings and multi-media work. Her original work is sold nationally at various juried events, art festivals, and through her online site TaniaGuerrera.com. Reproductions of her work are available from ArtistRising.com. She is also the author of Thoughts and Transformations and frequently performs at spoken words events. This is Ms. Guerrera's first California exhibit.
Ms. Guerrera's paintings "Samahdi", "Oshún Boricua" and "Masked Woman" were submitted for jury and all were accepted into the annual Las Mujeres (The Women) group show. This year the show is entitled Sueños y Realidad (Dreams and Reality). The show's curator is artist Maria Sanchez founder of ABLA, Art by Latina Artists. The directors of Galeria Tonantzin are artists Jennifer Colby, PhD. and Janet Martinez.
